La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant at La Hacienda at Oakland Market in Mount Pleasant

I'm only giving this restaurant a 1 star because I couldn't give it a 0 star. I placed a to go order. The order was wrong. I called and asked to speak to a manager. He was very short with his words and unsympathetic. He did not exemplify a leader with good interpersonal relationship skills. This night manager was a very poor choice to set the standard for customer service. He just offered to give us free cheese dip if we would go back to get it. That was not an option. I had to demand that the bill be adjusted accordingly. I'm highly appalled over the POOR customer service I received and the little reconciliation to make amends. There was not even an apology. The food was luke warm at best and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Good food at a good price

The queso is always good, but the rest of the food while good it is inconsistent. The steak tacos is sometimes amazing, while other times it is mediocre. Overall still with the inconsistency better than the average chain mexican restaurant.

My husband and I came here for dinner. We have eaten here a few times before and have been happy. The restaurant overall looks like a typical Mexican restaurant. The thing I like most about eating here is the food is pretty consistent and the wait staff is always very friendly and fast. I had the taco salad which was full of ingredients which was a nice surprise because the last Mexican restaurant I went to the taco shell was half empty! This one had plenty of meat, lettuce sour cream, and guacamole. I definitely was full when I left. I tried the Frozen peach Margarita and it was very tasty not too strong but not too weak.I recommend this place for a quick in-and-out Mexican meal.

The food was terrible and my husband and I have been sick all night from eating their. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The tacos have amazing flavor. Nice atmosphere and clean restaurant. Reasonable prices.

Service is good. The manager makes a extra effort to make the guests feel welcome. The food is consistently excellent. We typically have the Texas dip or Texas fajitas (steak, chicken and shrimp). Both are delicious.

Ordered their Burrito A La Pina that says on their menu "one large burrito filled with grilled chicken, chorizo and pineapple topped with cheese and Chipotle sauce." If you look at the picture I took, there isnt any pineapple filling the burrito as it says on the menu. Instead, they out 1 slice on the top. Mine came with 4 large onions in the burrito instead which I hate. The Chipotle sauce, is thousand island with a hint of Chipotle added, just nasty on a burrito, covering the mixed greens and slathered all over avacato. Would give 1 star, but waiter was nice, brought out food early for my son which we ordered for as we sat down. Not all the orders were made correctly, but could have been worse. 2 out of 5 stars.

Generally good Mexican fare. Margaritas leave a lot to be desired. Drink beer.

Really good Margaritas really good food. A nice place to bring the whole family. There is a middle section that will accommodate 12 + people.

Oh how I love Mexican food! This places delivers a great plate of food. The service is just ok. The place seems to always be quiet and slow paced. A great place to bring your family. It is about $1 more expensive than other restaurants but that's probably because of the location. I would definitely return.

This isn't the best LaHa, but it is in one of the best locations.Food is good and staff are helpful. If you speak a word or two of Spanish, they'll take extra care! Let me know if so with 👍👍👍

The new management and staff has changed this restaurant for the better. The food is great- fresh- and tasty. New manager has added daily specials- had added a great happy hour and nightly drink specials. Now on Thursdays there is live music. Menu has new additions. The servers are welcoming, nice, and work hard. The bartenders are nice and make sure your food and drinks are always right. The new management have completely revamped this restaurant in cleanliness- staff- and ideas for a better business. Great atmosphere and food.

Good food and the wait staff was on top of things

Used to really enjoy La Ha about 10 years ago but had found a place that served frozen margaritas and frequented there instead. I stopped by this location for a quick bite and really enjoyed my lunch special. Nice presentation, service and food at this newer, classier location.

We always have the best experience at La Hacienda. Romeo handles the business! Romeo is the most courteous server. The entire staff has always been attentive. The managers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, etc are always nice.

Pretty hit or miss. First time was fantastic, second time they could not get us crunchy chips for anything. It took four tries to get chips that weren't stale and they kept trying to convince us that "that's just how our chips are." It was weird. But for the most part, we usually have a pleasant experience. I would say customer service goes a long way to make up for the "off days" and that's what keeps us coming back.

Service was great & food was delicious!!! Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already. Especially if you're a fan of Mexican food. Good for kids as well. Can't wait to come back!

One of the best Mexican places we have found in Mount Pleasant! I eat Keto and they had no issue subbing the rice and beans out for more veggies! The timing was a bit weird on how the food came out but I ordered something custom and my daughter had a normal meal. Romeo was our server and he was great! He had a great personality and was just the right amount of attentive. This will be our new go to spot!

Been here many times and each time the experience has diminished. This time for 3 of us each had various issues. My food was on the cold side and came out long before the other two orders. The veggies in the vegetarian fajitas were old tasting and mushy. The seafood soup was acceptable and was the best although was at least 10 minutes in coming behind the other meals. It doesn't seem like they have it together. Wait staff follow up was also a little lacking, having to ask for drink refilled etc. It will be awhile before we try it again.

Service was great. Food was super good and flavorful. Went for our anniversary lunch and tee waiter brought us a complimentary shot which I thought was super nice and thoughtful.

After driving for 11 hours, we arrived late and they still served us. Both the food and the service were great and the prices were very reasonable. Wish we arrived earlier because I would have enjoyed some more Sangria. Maybe next time. 😁

First time ever here and VERY impressed! Manager showed us to our table and our waiter was great! Next time I'm in Charleston I will definitely be stopping here again. I had the Vulcan special and enjoyed every last bite!

I placed an order tonight and go pick it up, I get home and they gave me something completely different then what I ordered...Ok people make mistakes and I live a few mins no big deal. So I call back and tell them what they missed and I go pick it up. I get home a second time open it up and instead of chicken tacos with lettuce tomato and cheese on it there are tortillas with chicken inside them nothing else bare tortillas with chicken.I called back and had to wait on hold for five minutes and then they asked if I want to come pick them up again absolutely not.

Placed take out order and when I got home I realized they only packaged half my dinner. The receipt they gave provided total paid but does not list items purchased so I could not prove what I ordered. Then I called phone number on receipt only to have it constantly ring with no answer. Frustrating. By the way the meal was all dried out! Yuck!

It was my first time ever at the restaurant. I didn’t know what to get; my waiter reassured me that the “Texas Rice” was good, and it truly was! It came with shrimp, chicken, & steak over a bed of seasoned rice drizzled with a cheese sauce. The service was kind and FAST. The sweet tea was delicious. I would definitely go back!

I came here with my family expecting a nice family dinner but ended up with a rude server and horrible food. My sister found two hairs in her food and they refused to give her a new meal and still charged us for it!! Overall horrible experience, do NOT recommend!!

Food was okay, service was awful! Floors were soaking wet and very slippery.

I ordered Doordash from here n loved what I got(5* experience). Doing a lil Walmart shopping n needed a drink or 2, so stopped in. Had to wait for a bartender, who had zero idea what happy hour was or if they had it. Got me Tecate, some chips n disappeared. I was the ONLY person at the bar and felt super weird about it. People came behind the bar n just looked at me, not saying "Hi", just making it more awkward n unwelcoming. I'd say get the delivery....the actual in house service (from a guy who managed/worked in restaurants for 20 years) was non existent more than bad/uneducated. Their Quesadillas r FIRE(and cheap) I'd def order delivery again...but I'll never walk in here again...which I'm kinda bummed about. Carmen Y Juan's service is exceptional!

I ordered something new this time. It was really good, but they forgot the mushrooms, that I asked to be added. That was the second visit that they forgot that I added mushrooms to the dinner.

Great food and service. Ask for Romeo to serve you. He is cool and good.
